What every verified business must do

Every VERITA Verified business must: • Be legally registered with the appropriate authority. • Submit authentic and verifiable supporting documents. • Confirm the identity of its owners or authorised representatives. • Demonstrate authority to act on behalf of the business. • Successfully complete VERITA's independent verification process. • Continue to meet VERITA's verification standards throughout the verification period. Verification is earned through evidence — not purchased.

When a verification may be suspended or revoked

VERITA may suspend or revoke a verification where: • False, misleading, or forged information is submitted. • Fraudulent or deceptive conduct is discovered. • The business registration expires, is revoked, or becomes invalid. • Material information affecting verification is concealed. • The business no longer meets VERITA's verification standards. • Continued verification would mislead the public. Where appropriate, affected businesses will be informed before a final decision is made.

Appeals

A business that disagrees with a verification decision may submit an appeal together with any additional supporting evidence. Appeals are reviewed independently to ensure fairness, consistency, and impartiality. Where new evidence justifies a different outcome, VERITA may amend or reverse its original decision. Our goal is to protect public trust while ensuring every business receives a fair and transparent review.
